Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) / Te Whare Piki Ora O Māhutonga is a non-profit professional organisation accredited by the MCNZ and AMC to train and educate surgeons for New Zealand and Australia. It is a unifying voice for surgery across nine specialties, including Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery. RACS library, scholarships and professional development and skills courses are invaluable resources for its Fellows, trainees and vocationally registered IMGs. It also advocates on their behalf for quality surgical standards and on other matters relevant to surgical care. RACS has extensive pre-vocational resources for those interested in a surgical career.
