Dr Neil Lambie

Anatomical Pathologist, Canterbury Health Laboratories, Christchurch, NZ
​Dr Neil Lambie is an anatomical pathologist and Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia.  He has previously worked in the public system in Auckland, Christchurch and Sydney, and is now back at Canterbury Health Laboratories in Christchurch. He has a longstanding (30 year - OMG!) interest in Head and Neck Pathology.  His other professional areas of interest include Gynaecologic, Haematolymphoid and Surgical neuropathology. ​

Thyroid Cytology, Perspectives from Pathology

The Bethesda System for Reporting Thyroid Cytopathology (2010) is now in widespread use for the reporting of thyroid fine needle aspirate specimens.  The application of this system will be discussed and illustrated.
