Optic Nerve Decompression: An Operation without an Indication?
Optic nerve decompression is a rarely performed operation in rhinology.  The indications are still evolving and results have been unpredictable for decompression for indirect optic nerve trauma.  The use of decompression in controversial and its precise role remains uncertain.  I shall present my personal series of 51 cases and compare results with other series in literature.  Current popular opinions will also be discussed.

ORL 2020 is the 73rd Annual Scientific Meeting of the
The New Zealand Society of Otolaryngology,
Head & Neck Surgery
