Research Operation Manager, the Eisdell Moore Centre, The University of Auckland, Auckland, NZ
Dr Meagan Barclay is the Research Operation Manager for the Eisdell Moore Centre, a national research centre for hearing and balance disorders that is hosted by the University of Auckland.  She graduated from the University of Auckland with a Ph.D. in Physiology, where her thesis examined the development of the primary auditory neurons in the cochlea.  Her postdoctoral work continued this theme of research, investigating synaptic development in the cochlea and the effects of neonatal hypoxia on the development of the auditory pathways.  Meagan decided to move off the academic track in 2017 and took up her position in the Eisdell Moore Centre at the beginning of 2018.
