Emmanuel Jo

Manager, Analytics and Modelling, Health Workforce, Ministry of Health, Wellington, NZ

Emmanuel specialises in mathematical modelling and Big Data in health workforces. His expertise includes turning real-world situations into mathematical models, providing health workforce models for government health initiatives and policies.
Emmanuel studied Operations Research (Decision Science). In the year 2000 he joined American multinational information technology services company Electronic Data Systems (EDS) (now the Hewlett-Packard Company) as a mathematical modeller working on a variety of commercial and government IT projects, and joined to the Ministry in 2006.
Currently Emmanuel is an Honorary Lecturer in Medicine at School of Medicine University of Auckland, and leads Analytics and Modelling Section, Health Workforce, Ministry of Health New Zealand.
